Said Eucharist

Our online worship will continue to be our main act of worship for the three churches throughout August and September, however, from Sunday August 9th, at 9.30am, we open again for a said celebration of the Eucharist. The last time we were together at Christ Church was 21 weeks ago on March 15th – the 2nd Sunday of Lent!

It will be so good to worship together again, for those who wish to come. But it will be different, with physical distancing and no singing. The organ will be played during communion.

Our liturgy will be projected on the screen and communion will be in one kind only (wafers). We must wear masks. Regrettably we can’t offer any children’s ministry at this stage.

Stephen has attached details which you should read before coming to church. Our thanks to the wardens who have been working very hard to ensure we have all the right equipment and safeguards in place, and we will review things after Sunday and make any changes necessary.
